SONJ, 2017

In case you are an occasional reader of my blog, here’s the background you need in order to understand this post:

  1. My youngest brother, Jonathan, has Down syndrome.
  2. He is one of my favorite people on earth.
  3. Jonathan, also known as Jon, Jonny, J-Bear, Jonny bo Bonny, Jonny Joo Joo, and more, is one of the best people you could ever meet.
  4. He has been swimming with Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ) for over ten years.

The pictures I captured from this year’s summer games tell their own story. It’s one of joy, pride, and love.

Enjoy.
